A Decisive Moment

Zitat: "There is a creative fraction of a second when you are taking a picture. Your eye must see a composition or an expression that life itself offers you, and you must know with intuition when to click the camera. That is the moment the photographer is creative..." (Cartier-Bresson)

The gallery "A Decisive Moment" is about modern street photography and the problems "Privatsphäre versus Straßenfotografie" with §22 and §23 KunstUrhG. In this gallery I show some decisive moments on the streets of Aachen, Cologne, Monschau, Kalterherberg and Stuttgart where I anonymised the faces with black rectangles because of the German law. Nearly all photographs were shot with an old analog camera on 35mm color or black & white film. These moments would not exist if I would have asked the people for permission to shoot before the shot. If you regonize yourself on one of the photos and you want to be shown, contact me via E-Mail and I'll remove the black rectangle.

"Enjoy the moment"
